You don’t “get” eating disorders like you would a cold. An eating disorder is the utmost, built-up self-hate that a person feels for themselves. Imagine that, coming in waves so strong that it almost knocks you off your feet. Now imagine feeling that EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY.

EDs aren’t contracted like viruses and neither are they fashion statements or games. They aren’t fun and glamorous and nobody should want one.
